Themes and templates provide a visual starting point for a public experience. Preview a design before applying it so you can check typography, spacing, navigation, content density, and mobile behavior.
Applying a template may change presentation defaults but should not be treated as a replacement for reviewing your content. Save important copy and verify forms, products, blog connections, and media after a template change.

Does preview publish the design? No. Preview is for evaluation. Why do my colors or content look different after applying a template? Review the template’s default sections and then reopen the page or store editor to adjust them.
